Revelation 12:7-17
INTRODUCTION: Chapter 12 is referring back to the last 3 ½ years of the 7-year period we have been studying about these past few weeks. In chapter 12 we find a heavenly recap of the great conflict of the ages bringing us up to the Tribulation.
Now a great sign appeared (Wonder Revelation 12:1): This is the first of seven signs that John relates, and is described as a great sign (mega semeion). In Revelation chapters 12, 13, and 14 the main figures of the Great Tribulation are recap and are described, and this great sign introduces the first of the seven:
1.) The woman, representing Israel.
2.) The dragon, representing Satan.
3.) The man-child, referring to Jesus.
4.) The angel Michael, head of the angelic host.
5.) The offspring of the woman, representing Gentiles who come to faith in the Tribulation.
6.) The beast out of the sea, representing the antichrist.
7.) The beast out of the earth, representing the false prophet who promotes the antichrist.
There was conflict between Satan and God even before God ever created the Garden of Eden. For some reason, Satan decided he was equal with God. For ages Satan has been trying to influence the free will of man to follow him rather than God.
The worst wave of anti-Semitism and anti-Christian hate of all time will exist during the Tribulation.

1.) Calvary Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him (Satan) by the blood of the lamb.”
2.) Confession Revelation 12:11 “And by the word of their testimony;” Talk about Jesus! Give your testimony! We should give our testimony to:(1) Saints (2) Sinners (3) Satan James 4:7
3.) Commitment Revelation 12:11 “and they loved not their lives unto the death.” Mark 8:35, Matthew 16:25

1.) Literal rivers diverted into the desert to drown Israel where she’s being protected.
