(The Little Book and The Two Witness)
Revelation 10:8-11 and 11:1-14
I. THE LITTLE BOOK Revelation 10:1-2,8-11
This is where two Prophets in the Old Testament eat the Word of God. Ezekiel 3:1-3, Jeremiah 15:16. Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. Some believe that book this is the same Book we read about in Revelation chapter 5 and others believe it is referring to the Book of Daniel. Some believe it is the Word of God, I tend to believe it is the book only Jesus could open Revelation 5.
Note: It is John that eats the little book not Jesus. John was the last of the prophets: Luke 16:16
A. The Book was Eaten to give digestion. Revelation 10:8-9
1. Feast on the word of God.
2. Personalize it. Food becomes us as we eat it. If You Don't eat and you become weak. Psalm 119:103; Jeremiah 15:16,
Ezekiel chapters 2 & 3, Revelation 10:10
B. The Book was Eaten to give Indigestion. Revelation 10:9-10
C. The Book was Eaten to give Magnification. Revelation 10:11
II. THE TWO WITNESSES Revelation 11:1-13,
II Thessalonians 2:3–4, Revelation 11:1-2, Isaiah 28:15
A. These Two Witnesses are Persons
Revelation 11:3,6 I believe these two witnesses to be Moses and Elijah, who have come back from the dead. For look, if you will please, in verse 6: "These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy"—well, who did that in the Old Testament, but Elijah? —"and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will" (Revelation 11:6). Who did that in the time of the pharaoh, but Moses? You say, "Wouldn't that be strange for men to come back from the dead and give testimony here on earth?" (Some think these men are Elijah and Enoch because neither tasted death. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.” However, Moses and Elijah have already come back from the other world to give testimony. At the transfiguration of the Lord Jesus, Moses and Elijah already came back (Luke 9:28-36).
B. These Two Witnesses are Prophets. Revelation 11:3,6,10,14
C. These Two Witnesses are Powerful. Revelation 11:3-6
D. These Two Witnesses are Persecuted. Revelation 11:7-10,
Luke 21:12-18
E. These Two Witnesses are Preserved. Revelation 11:11-12,
I Thessalonians 4:16-17
F. These Two Witnesses are Persuasive. Revelation 11:13-14

I. GOD HAS AN ACTIVE, INTENTIONAL PLAN FOR MY LIFE AT THE END OF MY ROPE. II Corinthians 12:7, Romans 8:28, Psalm 118:24, Philippians 3:14
II. GOD HIMSELF IS ALL I EVER NEED AT THE END OF MY ROPE. II Corinthians 12:8-9a
III. GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF ME AT THE END OF MY ROPE.
II Corinthians 12:9b
Never doubt in the dark what God has shown you in the light.
II Thessalonians 2:16-17
IV. GOD IS AT WORK IN ME AND THROUGH ME AT THE END OF MY ROPE. II Corinthians 12
V. GOD’S POWER IS STRONGEST IN MY LIFE WHEN I AM AT THE END OF MY ROPE.
