Heaven Is a Prepared Place for A Prepared People. If You Know Your Final Destination Is Heaven, Then This Sermon Is for You
Text: John 14:1-3 Background Text: Revelation Chapters 21-22
Introduction: God lays a lot of information in His Word on what Heaven is like. From the high points of that information, we can put together a brochure of Heaven. The scriptures speak of three Heavens;
One: The atmosphere's heaven, made by God Himself, on the second day of creation. Genesis 1:6-8
Two: The starry heaven of space Psalms 19:1
Three: The third heaven is the dwelling place of God.
The scriptures speak of three heavenly dwelling places during three lots of time.
One: The Heaven That Then Was? (Paradise)
Example: Ruch man and Lazarus Luke 16:19-31
Two: The Heaven That Now is. II Corinthians 5:8
Three: The Heaven That will be.
I. THE MOUNTAIN VIEW Revelation 21:10
There are three names given to heaven:
(1.) Lamb’s Wife
(2.) Great City
(3.) Holy Jerusalem
From the mountain top of God’s promises, we see that Heaven is:
1. A Permanent Place Revelation 21:1
2. A Prepared Place Revelation 21:2
3. A Praising Place Revelation 21:3
4. A Peaceful Place Revelation 21:4-5
5. A Pleasant Place Revelation 21:6-7
6. A Purified Place Revelation 21:8
7. A Precious Place Revelation 21:9-11
8. A Protected Place Revelation 21:12-14
9. A Perfect Place Revelation 21:15-17
10. A Picturesque Place
1. Sea Clear as Crystal - Revelation 22:1
2. Beautiful and Fruitful Trees - Revelation 22:2
3. Mansions - John 14:6
4. Outer Walls Garnished with Precious Stones- Revelation 21:19-20

5. The Building Walls Inside Are Jasper - Revelation 21:18
6. The City Is Pure Gold, Like unto Clear Glass - Revelation 21:18
7. Streets of Pure Gold as Transparent Glass - Revelation 21:21

IV. MISSION FOR THOSE IN HEAVEN
1. Learning - Ephesians 1:15
A. We will learn the full scope of redemption.
B. We will learn about the riches of His power.
2. Singing - Revelation 5:9
3. Service - Revelation 22:3
4. Fellowship
V. THINGS MISSING IN HEAVEN
He who seldom thinks of heaven is not likely to get there.
1.) No Tears - Revelation 12:4, 7:17
2.) No Death - Revelation 21:4
3.) No Sorrow - Revelation 21:4
4). No Crying - Revelation 21:4
5.) No Pain - Revelation 21:4
6.) No Temple - Revelation 21:22
7.) No Curse - Revelation 22:3
8.) No Sun or Moon - Revelation 21:23
9.) No Night - Revelation 21:23, Revelation 22:5
10.) No Secrets - Revelation 21:24
11.) No End - Matthew 25:46, Revelation 22:5
12.) No Sinners - Revelation 21:27, Revelations 22:14-15
Conclusion: The main object of every child of God and every true church, is not to get a man out of earth and into Heaven; but rather to get God out of Heaven into man. Salvation and Heaven are the byproduct of having Jesus in us.
