Psalm 92:1-5
THANKS-LIVING IN ACTION
THANKS-LIVING IN ACTION
Text: Psalm 92:1-5
If July the Fourth is the celebration of our independence, Thanksgiving is the celebration of our dependence upon God.
Introduction: Thanksgiving is Good, Thanks-Living is Better! Thanksgiving is a Lifestyle not just a Holiday! An Attitude of Gratitude. Gratitude is from the same root word as “grace” which signifies the free and boundless mercy of God. Thanksgiving is from the same root word as “think,” so that to think is to thank. If you are one who thinks than you can’t help but to have the attitude of gratitude. A grateful mind is a great mind. For Thanksgiving to be truly Thanksgiving, there has to be first “Thanks” and then “Giving”. Thanks-Living is everyday Thanks and Giving! Ephesians 5:20
Select Bible Verses on Being Thankful: Philippians 4:6, Colossians 2:7, Colossians 3:15, Colossians 4:2, II Corinthians 9:15, I Thessalonians 2:13, I Thessalonians 5:18, Psalm 100:4, Psalm 147:7 Psalm 92 is a hymn of gratitude.

Every Christian should have the attitude of gratitude.
