SEVENTH TRUMP - BLESSED HOPE TRUMP

(THE INTRODUCTION OF THE SEVENTH TRUMP)

Text: Revelation 10:1-7

Introduction: The Bible speaks of a Last trumpet that will sound before Jesus Christ’s return to earth. What does the sounding of this last trumpet mean to you? We need to Remember; it is the Revelation of Jesus Christ. If you read this book and all you see is beasts, and wars, and plagues, and Hell, and famine, and earthquakes, and you don't see Jesus, you'd better reread the Book of the Revelation, because He is the central character; He's the figure of the book. The 10th chapter of this book is going to bring our attention dramatically upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

Yet It's a time that Jesus said would be a time of tribulation: Matthew 24:21, Revelation 10:1, Isaiah 63:9

I. THE MAGNIFICENCE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

A. His Face is as the Sun Revelation 10:1,16, Matthew 17:2, Acts 26:13, Malachi 4:2

B. He has Feet Like Pillars of Fire Revelation 10:1,15

C. He is Clothed with a Cloud Revelation 10:1,7

D. He has a Rainbow About His Head Revelation10:1,4:3

II. THE MIGHT OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Revelation 10:2, 5:2, Joshua 1:3, Colossians 1:16

III. THE MESSAGE OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Revelation 10:3 Notice the message of Jesus, for the word angel means "messenger."

A. There is a Startling Message Revelation 5:5, Joel 3:16

B. There is a Sealed Message Revelation 10:4,

2 Corinthians 12:4

C. There is a Sure Message Revelation 10:5-6, Hebrews 6:13

D. There is a Solemn Message Revelation10:6, 9:21, 1:1

E. There is a Sweet Message Revelation 10:7, Luke 21:25-28, Titus 2:13 Notice it says; “When He Shall BEGIN to Sound,” Revelation 10:7, Luke 21:25-28, Titus 2:13

Note: This is the seventh and last Trump in the Bible. The Bible is the best commentary on the Bible. Matthew 24:29-31, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, I Corinthians 15:51-53 Paul calls Rapture the rapture of those in Christ a “a mystery.” The Resurrection from the Dead was foretold Daniel 12:2; Isaiah 26:19-21 Old Testament prophecy does describe a catching up of those who are alive at the last day! The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah) pictures the moment of the Church's resurrection (also called the Rapture), which is why a trumpet is blown during the feast. That tekiah gedolah is a prophetic picture of the trumpet that will blow at the Church's resurrection. This is true! However, it is also True that the seventh Trump of Revelation lines up with Scripture in multiple places in wording and in terminology. Everything we have studied thus far is primarily God allowing Satan to have pretty much his wicked way on earth. The Wrath of God does not really kick in unto the Bowel Judgements come. The Bowel Judgements follow the completion of the seventh and last trump where the “Mystery of God is finished.” and Revelation 11:12 “Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies held them.” (Note “they” the Not of Revelation 4:1 single John only)

Conclusion: It is a startling message. Part of it is a sealed message. Oh, dear friend, some of it is a somber message. Some of it is a sweet message. All of it is a sure message. Jesus is coming again. Are you ready? Do you know Him?

Are you saved? Are you a child of God? Will you go to heaven if you were to die right now? Isaiah 1:18
