SANCTIFIED SAINTS
Text: I Corinthians 1:2
Introduction: Called by His grace, purchased by His blood, and indwelt by His Spirit, we have been set apart from the common things of this world and are devoted to God’s exclusive use. Sanctification means “to be set apart for holy use”. As a Saint, I am to be Sanctified!
1. We are Positionally Sanctified at the New Birth!
2. We are Progressionally Sanctified at the New Life!
The Bible Calls the Child of God A Saint.
Ephesians 1:1, 6:18, Philippians 1:1, Romans 6:19
I. WHEN IS A PERSON SANCTIFIED?
I Thessalonians 5:23 Could Be Viewed as:
Our Spirit - Past Sanctification - Instant - By the Blood.
Our Soul - Present Sanctification -
Progressive - By the Word & Spirit of God.
Our Body - Future Sanctification- Complete - In Christ Jesus and In Heaven.
A.) PAST - Positional Sanctification (Instant)
1. Saved from the PENALTY of sin forever.

We do not grow into sanctification, but we grow in sanctification.
I Thessalonians 3:12-13, I Thessalonians 4:1
2. Sinless perfection on earth is not taught in the Bible. I John 1:8
3. Perfecting holiness is taught in the Bible. II Corinthians 7:1
C.) FUTURE - Perfect Sanctification (Complete)
1. Saved from the PRESENCE of sin.
This will be when we get to Heaven. I Thessalonians 3:13
2. The old nature will be taken away!
We shall be: Perfect - Sinless - Completely Holy. I John 3:2-3
II. HOW CAN A PERSON GET SANCTIFIED?
We can have:
A.) Eternal Sanctification by the blood of Jesus Christ: “Our Position “Hebrews 13:12, I Corinthians 1:30
Admit -Romans 3:23, Believe - Romans 10:9-10, Confess -
Romans 10:9-10, 13
B.) External Sanctification by the Word of God: “Our Practice”
John 17:17-19, Ephesians 5:26, II Timothy 2:2, I Thess. 4:3-4,
Leviticus 11:44
C.) Internal Sanctification by the Holy Spirit: “Our Inner Power”
I Peter 1:2, Rom. 15:16, Philip. 1:6
Conclusion: You can be sanctified! The child of God is:
1.) Positionally Sanctified by the New Birth. This is about our Standing Past.
Our Past - A Permanent Changed in my Spirit.
2.) Progressionally Sanctified through a New Life. This is about our State Present Our Present - A Continuous Change in my Soul.
3.) Ultimately Sanctified in the New Heaven. This is about our Salvation Future Eternally. Our Future - A Completed Change of Soul and Body.

BEING MINDFUL OF THE MINDS Part 2
Philippians 2:5 “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:”
Introduction: It all begins and ends in your mind. What you give Power to, has the Power over you. You change things, When You let your thoughts be like the mind of Christ. We are physical, mental, and Spiritual beings. If you don’t deal with all of life, you’re not going to get all life has to offer.
The Background: Philippians 2:1-8, Proverbs 23:7 Sow a thought, Reap an act, Sow an act, Reap a habit, Sow a habit, Reap a character, Sow a character, Reap a destiny.
