INTRODUCTION: Revelation chapter 18 - Commercial, Political Babylon is now in view - The destruction of religious Babylon described in Rev.17 and commercial Babylon in chapter 18 will decisively rid the world of the major evils that have plagued the human race for about 5000 years. We have already seen the destruction to be unleashed on ecclesiastical or religious Babylon after the middle of the Tribulation period. The Time frame of the Fall Commercial Babylon will most likely be after seventh trump or during the Bowel Judgments notice: Revelation 14:8

Rev.14:8 a Why? The Collapse of Babylon. Rev. 14:8 b, Rev. 18:1 Note the phrase “after these things” in verse one. This phrase is significant in this book. Eight times the Greek phrase “META TAUTA” appears. Revelation 1:19; 4:1; 7:9; 9:12; 15:5; 18:1; 19:1; 20:3; “After these things” After destruction of the Ecclesiastical Babylon the time will come for the destruction of Commercial Babylon. The word great appears 66 times in the Book of Revelation and in this chapter ten times. (Rev. 18:1, 2, 10, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 21, 23)

C. It Is Right Because of the Madness of Her Sins.

II. THE RESPONSE OF THE FALL OF BABYLON.
A. Some were Grieved. Revelation 18:9-19.

B. Some Were Gladdened. Revelation 18:20

III. THE RESULTS OF THE FALL OF BABYLON.
A. Result # One - A Violent Judgement. Revelation 18:21

C. Result # Three - A Valid Judgement. Rev. 18:23-24
1. Valid because of the Merchants Activity. Revelation 18:23 b.
2. Valid because of the Murderous Activity. Revelation 18:24
Conclusion: The pagan anti-Christ religion of Babylon fell and now the commercial Babylon fell. But the God in heaven is still guiding the world to His appointed end. The next Chapter in the book of Revelation begins with the words. Revelation 19:1. Babylon has fallen but Heaven is alive and praising God. This is the first time the word “Alleluia” or "Hallelujah" appears in Revelation.
