Introduction: Matthew 7:7-8 

I. WE MUST LOOK WILLINGLY 
Matthew 2:1-2     
 
II. WE MUST SEARCH CAREFULLY 
Matthew 2:3-8 

III. WE MUST HOPE EXPECTANTLY
Matthew 2:9-11   

IV. WE MUST GIVE ABUNDANTLY
Matthew2:11  

The Wise Men Gifts:
1. Gold - Speaks of His Royalty and Deity       
2. Frankincense - Speaks of His Mediator-ship and Power. It would also be symbolic of purity of life; a sweet-smelling savor.     
3. Myrrh - Speaks of His Sacrificial Death. Myrrh is bitter and would show the bitter death of Christ to come. 

V. WE MUST CHANGE RADICALLY
Matthew 2:12  

Conclusion: The First Christmas Eve- It is a Conversation of The Divine Trinity Hebrew 10:5-7
“You can never truly enjoy Christmas until you can look up into the Father’s face and tell him you have received his Christmas gift.”
