Jesus Feeds The 5,000
And Is the Bread of Life! 
Jesus Is God’s Answer to Our Deepest Desires
Text: John 6:1-68   
Introduction:   Jesus is our everything! Jesus is God’s answer for every situation! In the 1st miracle (water into wine), Jesus is God’s answer to our disappointments. In the 2nd miracle (The healing of the noblemen’s son), Jesus is God’s answer to our doubts. In the 3rd  miracle (Healing the cripple man), Jesus is God’s answer to man’s disability. In this 4th miracle (Feeding of the 5000), Jesus is God’s answer to man’s deepest desires. 
A.) Note the background and the story of this great miracle.   
JESUS IS HEAVEN’S BREAD FOR EARTH’S HUNGER!  
B.) Note the problem: Fed Up but Not Fed.
C.) Note the answer to our deepest desires.
I. THERE IS NO PROBLEM TOO BIG TO SOLVE.    John 6:1-2
A.) Knowing Where to Turn  John 6:7
B.) Using All of Our Strength
II. THERE IS NO PERSON TOO SMALL TO USE.   John 6:8-9
A.) Transferred to Jesus  
The Lad That Had Gave All He Had  Mark 8:35, Luke 6:38  This boy’s lunch was transferred to Jesus.
B.) Taken by Jesus
C.) Transformed by Jesus  Don’t insult God by saying He cannot use you.  
Examples: (I Corinthians 1:26-27, Mark 14:9, Mark 12:41-44)    
Jesus took a little boy’s lunch and proceeded to feed a crowd with it (John 6:10-13). 
III. THERE IS NO HUNGER TOO DEEP TO SATISFY.   
A.) Jesus Is the Spiritual Bread

B.) Jesus Is the Supernatural Bread  John 6:28-33

C.) Jesus Is the Satisfying Bread  John 6:35
1. He Is the Satisfying Bread for The Now and Now.
2. He Is the Satisfying Bread for The Now and Forever.
D.) Jesus Is the Sustaining Bread.  John 6:47-51
1. Jesus Sustains Us for Today. John 10:10    
Jesus did not come to add years to your life, but to give life to your years.
2. Jesus Sustains Us Forever.
E.) Jesus Is the Sacramental Bread. John 6:53
What good is bread if it is not eaten?   John 6:58-60
1. You Must Have Jesus in You.     
2. You Must Feed on Jesus.
Is Jesus living in you?    John 6:63 How do you feed upon Jesus?

Soul-winning is just One Beggar telling another Beggar Where to Find BREAD!

Invitation: Do you want to really be satisfied? To experience God’s supply, you must seek Jesus.

D.) Accept His Invitation to The Banquet:   Sit down at the table with the One who can turn a boy’s lunch into a feast for thousands. Nourish your soul on Jesus and never go hungry again. The bread of life is whole food, not junk food.  The bread of life is for beggars, not buyers.
