Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:7 At the same time, Job and also Moses the scientists of that day believed differently: Egyptians - Believed Five Columns held up the earth Hindu’s - Believed an Elephant on a turtle’s back which swam in a cosmic sea held the earth up. Greeks - Believed Atlas: A strong man held up the earth.
Look at the very First Verse in the Bible: Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Trinity of Trinities in Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning” (TIME) Past, Present, Future, “God” Father, Son, Holy Spirit, “created the heaven” (SPACE) Length, Width, Height, “and the earth” (MATTER) Solid, Liquid, Gas The Creation of Time, Space, and Matter Happen Simultaneously!

I. Why Would Someone Want To Believe In The Gap Theory?
1. To Make Room For The Fall Of Satan.
2. To Make Room For Long Periods Of Time.

II. What Does The Bible Say about the subject? Genesis 1:1-2
# 1. Exodus 31:17, Shows us that Genesis 1:1 is part of the First Creation.
# 2. Exodus 20:11, Shows us that everything that was In the Heaven, Earth, and Sea is part of the First Creation.
# 3. Revelation 21:1-5, Shows us that we are still living in the First Creation.
III. The # 1 Reason The Gap Theory Cannot Be True Is That: It Undermines The Gospel! Why? Let’s start with the subject of Death! Is Death Real? Where does Death come from? I Corinthians 15:21-22, Romans 5:12
Before Man (Adam) Sin there was not something called DEATH! If you believe the Gap theory teaching you have to believe that Sin, Judgment, and Death Existed before the creation of man. Read the Rest of the verses in Romans Chapter 5. Romans 5:12-21 Death did not exist until Adam sinned! Notice The Judgment of Thorns and Thistles! Genesis 3:17-18 Fossils start to happen only when Death occurred. All Death started with Adam. Fossils are already a Dead giveaway , but the existence of thorns and thistles is twice as obvious when logic dictates. If sin and death existed before Adam than Adam is not the ONE who caused the fall. I Corinthians 15:21-22 Taking away the reality of the damage of the First Adam, takes away the need of redemption of the Last Adam.

Death is an ENEMY and an Intruder in God’s Creation. Therefore could not have existed in God’s Original, Good and Very Good Creation in six days.

Question: Has the First Heaven and Earth Passed away yet? Genesis 1:1 Scripture tells us of only 2 heavens and 2 earths. If you believe in the Gap Theory than you have to believe in 3 Earths and Heavens.
When Did Satan Fall? The Gap Theory is built on people thinking about Satan, Primarily his fall. Isaiah 14:12-17,Ezekiel 28:13-19,Job 1:6-8, Job 2:1-3, Revelation 20:10 The Bible Is Historically true, Scientifically true, and Prophetically true and Factual in every way.
