FAITH THAT WORKS!
Text: Hebrews 11:7
We looked at Able who had a Worshiping Faith and Enoch who had a Walking Faith and now we going to see that Noah had a Working Faith. Captain Noah the grandson to Enoch built a ship that became God’s Good Ship Grace for mankind. Noah’s name means rest, but Noah was one of the hardest working men who has ever lived. He had an Unsinkable Faith that stayed afloat in earth’s biggest storm.
(The flood of Noah’s day).
I. NOAH’S FAITH Hebrews 11:7, Genesis 7:5
A.) Noah’s Working Faith James 1:22, James 2:17-18
B.) Noah’s Faith Was Based on Devine Revelation. Hebrews 11:7, Romans 10:17
“So, then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
C.) True Faith Waits on God.
D.) Noah stands alone.
II. NOAH’S FEAR Hebrews 11:7
A.) Noah resolved to save himself and his family’s lives.
B.) Everyone is motivated by fear in some way!
C.) Godly Fear Ran in The Family.

A.) He did not wait until it Rained

A.) They were warned of weather change, but they would not hear of it!

VI. NOAH’S FORTUNE Hebrews 11:7
A.) Noah’s Investment 1. Time 2. Money 3. Self
B.) The People
The real estate they had was not real. It was covered with water. Their money was worthless. Noah went into the Ark a Minority But he came out a Majority! When he came out the world was his!
C.) Noah’s Reward and Noah’s Fortune!
Noah gained it all! The whole world was his, and no one was there to dispute that fact. Matthew 5:5.
D.) The most important fortune Hebrews 11:7
E.) The Ark was a picture of Christ!
There was only one door on the ark-There is only one way to Heaven, JESUS! Jesus is the door, and faith is the gang plank! God shut the door! God sealed our salvation! Ephesians 4:30.
Genesis 7:1 “And the Lord said unto Noah, come thou and all thy house into the ark;” God was already in the ark, and He said come in! Noah and his family were not outside the ark hanging on pegs. Noah may have fallen down in the ark lots of times, but he never fell out of the ark (Psalm 37:23–24). Security is not in a place but in a person! You can today become an heir of righteousness!!!
Hebrews 11:7 “Became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”

“Fret not thyself because of evil doers.” Vs.1
“Trust in the Lord and do good.” Vs. 3

“Commit thy way unto the Lord.” Vs. 5
“Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him:” Vs. 7
“Cease from anger and forsake wrath” Vs. 8
