Six Ways to Manage Anger
Anger is nothing more than a outward expression of HURT, FEAR, and FRUSTRATION.
Text: Proverbs 25:8,Proverbs 25:15, Proverbs 25:21,  Proverbs 25:22
1. Maybe you have no difficulty with anger
2. Uncontrolled anger in a Christian’s life is a problem.
3. Not all anger is sin or bad. Ephesians 4:26
Matthew 5:22,I John 3:15,  Psalm 97:10, James1:20, James 1:3-4, Ephesians 4:26-27, Mark 3:5, Mark 11:15-17
4. You can be good and be angry. Ephesians 4:31-32 
I. LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER PATIENTLY   Proverbs 25:8
We all BOIL at different degrees!
A.) Don’t get angry in a hurry.
B.) Slow down and look into it.  Do not rush in.  PROVERBS 14:17, PROVERBS 15:18, ECCLESIASTES 7:9 Pastor’s Qualification TITUS 1:7 “Not soon Angry”
C.) The Greatest remedy for Anger is DELAY.  We need to learn patient acceptance. Romans 12:12 
II. LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER PRIVATELY.  PROVERBS 25:9-10
A.) Once you start to tell it you cannot stop it.  
B.) Privately, carefully, face-to-face, heart-to-heart, one-to-one                                             
C.) Pride want to uncover; love wants to cover.  PROVERBS 17:9, PROVERBS 10:12                                    
D.) Beware of Barrowed Offences!                
III.  LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER PRUDENTLY (WISELY)
PROVERBS 25:11-13
Be wise in the way you use your tongue.
Words can bruise or bless. Words can be beautiful or ugly.
B) You can say things two ways.
We need to think about what we are going to say before we say it. 
PROVERBS 15:1, PROVERBS 15:23, Proverbs 14:29  

IV. LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER POWERFULLY 
PROVERBS 25:21-22
With power you can control the throne.
There is more power doing it God’s way than your own way!
There is no power in trying to get even.
Strength is power under control.
Explain your anger don’t Express it, and you will immediately open doors to solutions instead of arguments.

V. LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER POSITIVELY PROVERBS 25:21-22
A) Do good for evil....  Proverbs 25:21-22,ROM. 12:21
B) Bless and Curse not. MATTHEW 5:44 
Just because you’re ANGRY , doesn’t mean you have the right to be CRUEL!
C.) Make friends out of your enemies
 PROVERBS 25:21-22, Ephesians  4:26 

VI. LEARN TO DEAL WITH ANGER PERSONALLY PROVERBS 25:28
A.) We must deal with self.  Holding on to Anger is like Drinking Poison and Expecting the Other to Die. You are always Responsible for how you act no matter how you feel!
B.) We fly out of control because we are out of control.  Ecclesiastes 7:9 
C.) When we are angry, we are the devil’s campground.
D.) If someone can make us angry, we are their slave.  
They cannot make us angry unless we let them.
Every time you get upset at something, ask yourself if you were to die tomorrow was it worth wasting your time being angry.
E.) The true man comes out in anger.  
THE BEST APOLOGY IS CHANGED BEHAVIOR!

F.)     GOD IS SLOW TO ANGER  Psalm 103:8, PSALM 145:8  
When We Forgive, We Heal. And When We Let Go, We Grow.
G.)   If you are not saved, come to Jesus today.
