Text: Galatians 2:20

I. Paul’s Philosophy

1.) Nothing was too high to be attempted. Phil. 3:13-14

2.) Nothing was too hard to be endured. Phil. 4:13

3.) Nothing was too good to be hoped for. Phil.  3:20-21

4.) Nothing was too precious to be given away. Phil. 1:20-24

It was Paul who made these famous statements:

II Timothy 4:6-8, Philippians 1:21

We have in this verse three contrasts presented to us:

1.) The contrast between the past and the present:

“The life which I now live.”

2.) The contrast between love and law:

“The Son of God loved me”  Previously Paul had lived under law.

3.) The contrast between Christ and self:    “Not I, but Christ.”

Romans 12:1-2
