A Know-So Salvation

Jump Off Verse: I John 5:13

Introduction: Salvation is gloriously simple and just simply glorious.  Isaiah 35:8, Matthew 11:25

Doubt is to your spirit what pain is to your body.

Faith is the ability to see what you can not touch.

Hope is the ability to touch what you can not see.

I. THE ROOT OF OUR BELIEF

Faith is the root of our beliefDon’t confuse feeling with faith. Hebrews 11:1

We can have a Know-So Salvation because of the following:

A.) The Eternal Work Of The Holy Savior I John 5:6

Salvation is not a performance but a Person.

B.) The Internal Witness Of The Holy Spirit

I John 5:6-8 , I John  5:9-10

C.) The External Witness Of The Holy Scripture

I John 5:10-13, I John 5:13, John 5:24

The Word of God is the basis of our belief.

II. THE FRUIT OF OUR BEHAVIOR

God wants Spiritual Fruit Not Religious Nuts!

Thee Behavior Test In Scripture:

A.) The Commandment Test  I John 2:3-6

John 14:15,  Luke 6:46   (Matthew 6:24a).

B.) The Companion Test   I John 3:14

A belief is something you hold; a conviction is something that holds you.

C.) The Commitment Test  I John 5:10

I John 5:13, (John 2:23-24)

What is not Incarnational is not Redemptional and what is not Redemptional is not Transforming.
